Norbert C. Kaser today is known as one of the most significant voices of German-speaking post-bellum literature. In his lifetime the writer, which died aged 31, was noticed as a doomed existence. Better part of his literary work has been published posthumously. So Kaser retroactive received the recognition that was denied him during lifetime.
In the exhibition Christine Riccabona and Benedikt Sauer, on the basis of photography and various pictured original texts, retrace the most important stations of the literary development of the writer and throw bright light on selected themes of his oeuvre. The exhibition will be shown in correlation with the “n.c. kaser – lyric festival” and was organized in cooperation with the research institute Brennerarchiv (Innsbruck), the City Theater Bruneck/Brunico and Museums Association Bruneck/Brunico.
