Opening hours: Tue - Fri 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. & on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 10 a.m. - 12 a.m.

Exception: The museum is closed on 24^th and 25^th of December 2015, as well as on 1^st of January 2016.

The well-known citizen of Bruneck/Brunico Johann Tinkhauser (1787-1844) was goldsmith, engraver, stamp and lightning rod producer, mayor and chronicler. As a passionate collector, he created a vast private collection with many treasures, curiosities and rarities. The exhibition illuminates this for Bruneck/Brunico and its time remarkable character, his versatile interests and gives an idea of the former original Tinkhauser-Collection.
