One of the most important and interesting artists from Southtyrol is the sculptor, draftsman and graphic artist Franz Kehrer. A great number of his sacral and profane artworks enrich public areas and churches in the whole country. The artistic work by the former Wortruba-student is widely appreciated also outside the Country.
The Brunico City Museum shows a special exhibition on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The presented sculptors in bronze, heads in plaster, reliefs, drawings and his style of wood engraving allow the guests to gain a good an insight into his artistic work which started in the 60s and goes on till today.
